Summary
Ben gets the opportunity to audition for a soup commercial. Joey uses it as a chance to get his own audition as the father in the commercial. It's Rachel's first day at Ralph Lauren. Monica and Phoebe plan a surprise birthday party for her. Rachel's new coworkers and boss smoke, making important decisions outside on the terrace. Chandler reminisces about his smoking days. Monica changes all sorts of stuff for the party without consulting Phoebe. Ben and Joey get called back for another audition but find out they'll be competing with different partners. Rachel begins smoking and her boss tries to get her to quit.
