Rachel and Phoebe compete to be Monica's maid-of-honor. Joey and Ross find themselves in awkward positions after a nap. Monica insists that Chandler apologize to an ex-girlfriend for dumping her because of a weight gain.

Summary
Monica makes Chandler apologize for breaking up with a girl because she was once fat. He does and of course makes it worse, but manages to convince Monica he won’t do the same to her.
Monica makes Phoebe and Rachel decide who will be her maid of honor. They, in turn, pass the buck to Ross and Joey. After a humorous competition, Phoebe is chosen, but when she sees how important it is to Rachel she steps aside gallantly.
Joey and Ross fall asleep on top of each other after watching Die Hard. Joey decides he likes it and wants more. Ross eventually gives in, but the nascent couple is soon busted by the rest of the gang.
