Rachel tries to teach Joey how to sail his boat, and Chandler plays racquetball with Monica's father. Meanwhile, Monica tries desperately to reproduce Phoebe's grandmother's secret cookie recipe.

Summary
Monica asks for Phoebe's grandmother's secret chocolate chip cookie recipe as an engagement present. Phoebe agrees to hand it over but then realizes it was destroyed in the fire at her and Rachel's apartment (last season). The only thing Phoebe has left of the recipe is one frozen cookie from the last batch she made. They attempt to figure out the recipe but later discover that it's actual the Nestle's Tollhouse cookie recipe for which Phoebe's grams is famous.
Chandler and Ross play racquetball with Monica and Ross's dad. Chandler is embarrassed when he accidentally sits on Dad Geller's lap in the steam room after the game. He later asks him not to tell anyone about the incident because it would make him uncomfortable. That happens right before he walks into the whirlpool room with his father-in-law completely naked.
Rachel tries to teach Joey how to sail but only succeeds in treating him like her father treated her when he taught her how to sail - like crap. Joey's angry. Rachel realizes she's acting like her father and apologizes.
